The Rev. Gary Henderson leads the denomination’s Imagine No Malaria campaign to raise $75 million to reduce death and suffering from malaria in Africa. Through his work, he has established partnerships throughout the global church and with other non-profit organizations. Most recently, he was named as one of two Chief Relationship Officers at United Methodist Communications. The Relationship Development Team’s global focus includes providing communications resources, information, research and grants to local churches, districts, annual conferences and agencies. An ordained elder in The United Methodist Church, Gary served as a local church pastor for 21 years. Additionally, has been active in almost every aspect of church and community life.  He is a popular retreat leader, teacher and preacher. For the third time he is an elected delegate to General Conference from the East Ohio Conference.
